I was kind of thrust back to the internet. It went like this:

- I leave. Play moody guitar for an hour or so.
- Karri, Russ’s friend comes over to hang out. She finds all of the music for Russ’s podcast.
- She’s too busy to do it anymore, so now I get to do it!
- This required some time on the internet.
- During which, I inadvertently check Twitter.
- My job in finding music is to find podsafe stoner music.
- This makes me think of Moxy Fruvous’ song, “Ash Hash,” which is great.
- I start listening to Moxy Fruvous again.
- INSTANT REVITALIZATION!

My ultimate point is that it’s impossible for me to be moody for more than a couple of hours. Today was a bit of a breaking point but eventually I find something that makes me giggle and then I’m back to normal.

Plus Snocap works again, which makes me feel better. I do, however, like the new simple design for my website, so I think I’ll keep it that way for a while.

So anyway, I’m a big liar and I’m being moody for your attention. Forgive me.

UPDATE: This post is dumb!

I keep using that term and now I hate it.

But it’s true. Today was supposed to be the big launch of Songs for Autumn. Instead it was me waiting for Snocap to get off its ass and fix its website, and various other stupid, ridiculous, and otherwise shitty Internet things that led to me ultimately scrapping the promotion until I can find a better way to do it.

I was going to set up a Fundable site to raise money so that I could help distribute my stuff, but Fundable does not want to work. Their site is too slow. Something. I don’t know.

Anyway, I’m pissed, and I’m done. The next month is for writing a novel.

If this link works, it’s my Fundable thing. All donations are pledges, and no money is exchanged until I meet my goal, so you don’t have to worry about donating money and then me not getting enough and just keeping the money.

If it doesn’t work, well, there’s a PayPal donate button on my website (which I changed to reflect my new status).

Craig Ferguson, of all men, delivers a wonderful monologue against the media hype that is the presidential election. It sent shivers down my spine.

I’ve gone through enough “test” posts in my life to realize that they are a waste of time. A man should just up and write his first post as his test post, dammit! There should be no qualms with the quality of his writing; rather, there are qualms with the structure of the thing holding the writing! Thus, the “test” post is a waste of space, and should be given a proper length and quality to it.

With that said: first post!

I decided to use blogger to set up a blog rather than Movable Type because at this point in my life I’m too lazy to go through all that needs to be done to make an MT template for my website. I’d rather people just look at this blog, honestly. It’s not like it’s gonna kill you, is it? I hope not. I really do.
