I’m kind of anal about numbers. Like, for example: when I write for NaNoWriMo, I like to calculate how many words I have to write every day (1,667), I like to know how many words I’m writing as I write (NaNo or not … and thank god Word07 has the word count on the bottom of the screen). I like to know how many pages are in the book I’m reading, and mentally calculate how many pages I have to read before I’m done. I like to know how many songs I’ve written. I like cataloguing, I guess. It’s not an OCD thing at all (if you’ve seen my room you’d agree). It’s just a little thing that keeps my brain active, I guess. Statistics and whatnot.
So the November statistics for this website, as dictated by Webalizer (and rounded, roughly), are:
46,000 hits
35,000 files
8,800 pages
4,124 visits
I’m not sure what these all mean, to be honest. I know that visits are good, and I know that I more than doubled my visits from last month, and (as you can see in the graph) monumentally increased the amount of hits and traffic to my site in November alone.
I averaged 137 views per day. The top hit-maker was the file josh_small.jpg, which got 6000 hits, because it is on my Myspace page. Most of my visits were to my blog feed, which means I have a lot of subscribers! That makes me most happy. Thank you for subscribing to me, I hope I shall never ever be boring to you.
So yeah, I know I already thanked you for the increase in traffic, but now that the November statistics are out I see how amazing you all are. You guys are what makes the internet successful. Websites live and die based on the number of people who view them, and I’m glad that you all spend a bit of time out of your day to view mine.
Expect some new stuff on the site for the next year. And not just the Twelve EP project, either I, out of sheer stupidity, removed all of my writing and comics from the site. I plan on putting them back very soon. I am also going to put up other music and fun stuff. Trifecta will be updated more often (as soon as my friends start writing stuff for it, at least…). 2009 is going to be a good year for me. I can feel it in m’bones.
I also promise to stop writing posts like this. hehe.
